Raven Indigenous Outcomes Funds (RIOF) is raising C$50 million to support Indigenous-led health and climate initiatives through outcomes-based finance. With early backing from organizations like the Christensen Fund and Boann Social Impact, RIOF’s community-driven outcomes contracts (CDOCs) are setting a new standard for trust-based, impact-focused investment. Recent successes include geothermal energy and housing retrofits for Fisher River Cree Nation and Peguis First Nation.
