Onion Lake Cree Nation set out to bring cleaner, more affordable energy to its community and keep the benefits local. Working with Otipêy, the Nation structured financing that keeps ownership and long-term savings within the community.

Partnering with Otipêy has completely redefined what true economic self-determination looks like for our community. Rather than navigating restrictive, external financial models, we now have full ownership over our capital.
